Welcome to my website!

My name is Generoso Pagano and I am a software engineer, a guitarist and a world traveler.

Something I am doing now...

I am currently working as Principal Data Engineer at Amadeus, Nice (France). Here I design, develop and optimize Big Data applications using Spark and Delta Lake.

Something I have done before...

Before relocating to the Côte d'Azur, I was working as R&D Engineer at Inria, a French national research institution focusing on computer science and applied mathematics, in Grenoble (France). I worked on the research project SoC-Trace, in partnership with STMicroelectronics, Probayes, Magillem Design Services, and the LIG Laboratory.

As I am an open source enthusiast, at Inria I initiated the open source project Framesoc, and I started collaborating with other open source projects (Lttng, Ocelotl).

...and before...

I previously worked in Italy, my native country, at Evidence, a young and dynamic software company. Here I developed some modules of a flight simulator and I participated to the design and development of SMCube, a state machine editor and code generator.

I got my Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pisa. During my Master's thesis, I designed an LTE-Advanced scheduling algorithm, which has been patented in collaboration with Telecom Italia.
